I just started reading The orphan master’s son by Adam Johnson. About North Korea. I liked books like Kind 44 about life in Soviet Russia. I hope this book will deal with life in North Korea. One of the most bizarre countries in the world.

@Dennis I have finished The Orphan’s Masters Son by Johnson. And like you I wasn’t that overwhelmed. Much of that probably has to do with the narrative.
